Inappropriate Gamertag

Hello Xbox live forums. My [Mod removed] has the gamer tag [Mod removed]. [Mod removed] stands for smoking illegal narcotics: [Mod removed] and Thunder is a slang term for heroin: [Mod removed] and [Mod removed], who is a local [Mod removed]. Please have
his gamer tag banned, because almost every lobby I get into with him, people are offended.

Inappropriate Gamertag?!

i have been having a problem using the name "Dave" on some of my games. this a big problem seeing as that my gamertag is Dave aka Minion. i first noticed on halo reach that on the four letter or digit call tag that you can put on ur spartan won't allow the
name dave. i didnt think much of it till i started playing Far Cry 2, i cant host any of my maps because my gamertag is inappropriate for xbox live at least thats what its telling me and i dont understand why it would be inappropriate. i have put a lot of
hard work into my maps and it would suck if all that hard work just went to waste like that. (you should download and see these maps seriously) i hope you can fix this problem so i dont run into more issues with other gamers at least. you can call me back

You will need to post in
THIS forum to get an official answer from the enforcement team.

If you create a Gamertag that has been determined to violate the Terms of Use or Code of Conduct, the system will automatically choose a new Gamertag for you.

If you believe a gamertag violates the code of conduct then report via your console
enforcement.xbox.com/.../HowTo

It can't be reported on the forums or anywhere else.

Calling out gamertags is not allowed on the forums

The terms of use is pretty clear and the code of conduct if you can't say it infront of a child you shouldn't do it it is that simple

Common sense should always be used

If you don't aggree with method thèn You are in for a shock

Most services will change your name forcibily and most require You to use Common sensé. Some people dont login to avoid théforce name change forcing thé community to enduré with thé violation

Just hiding a bad Word or something Not acceptable in public with numbers and Words is Not acceptéd on any server

Some servers will Hand a 3day suspension Along with a forcéd name change

Xbox and other servers will Hand a perm ban on any accounts naming rules too many times

Just because you chose to ignore a contract you signed when joining Xbox LIVE--that being the
Terms of Use and
Code of Conduct--doesn't remove you from the legal obligations that are clearly stated in them. Ignorance of the law is not an acceptable defense in the court system and it is equally as unacceptable on Xbox LIVE.

It doesn't matter if yours "wasn't that bad" or if it was the most profane thing on the server the penalty is the same regardless. The free change was removed because people abused it by simply adding a number to the offensive tags and would keep doing such
each time one got banned. This generated a lot of work in the back-end of things for Microsoft which in turns costs them money all because you are too immature to come up with a respectable and appropriate gamertag.

You will not get a free name change and that's final.

I find the name foolish. I despise it. They told me to post here *phone customer support*, but obviously not. I hope microsoft sees this thread

Well I didn't see it and I am quite outraged over their change without my notification. I feel I have the right to a notification and a change. IF it would've been changed to something unappropiate I feel thats when they should make you for it. I.E. Give
you ONE free change after being tagged for being inappropriate.
