inappropriate gamer tag

an Xbox live user by the name of [Mod Removed] is cyber bulling me and making very upset with his name as you can see with his name someone close to had an affair by the name Randell and is very private to me and noes how i fell about it
so he thinks its funny to put it as his gamer tag. all I want is for him to either get banned or perhaps change it and make it unable to change it to any thing ells because this happened once and it was changed but now he changed it again. thank you

Forced gamertag Change

My gamer tag was forcibly changed by Microsoft because it was "deemed inappropriate". The gamer tag was not inappropriate at all. How do I go about contacting them to get some help?

 

Can I get someone banned?

I am just wondering if I report someone due to inappropriate language or comments will the gamer ban?. I message many of friends to report a certain gamer tag as well because I want him to be ban. It is normal to hear a lot or curse but this guy got into my nerves.

 

All you can do is report that person. As the GamerTag is not necessarily offensive in general you may want to consider messaging one of the enforcement team explaining your situation and why it is offensive. If you go to the suspension forums you'll see
a few members of the team kicking about who you can approach. Be patient though, thousands of reports are sent daily so it may take some time before any action is taken.

Also, please remember in future that naming and shaming on the forums is against the rules. The last thing I'd want to see is you getting banned for an innocent mistake.

 

I find the OPs gamertag to be more offensive than the one he is naming and shaming.

 

Agree with vote to be honest.There's nothing wrong with the other persons gamertag that i can see.

The above advice is correct. There is no guarantee that any action will be taken against the gamertag in question because although you find it offensive, it doesn't actually commit any breach to the ToU / CoC. My advice would be to block communications and
put this behind you and continue to enjoy your gaming.
