    Inactive Gamertag wipe


    Hello i was wondering maby if you could wipe/reset peoples gamertags who have been inavtive for over a month with 0 gamerscore or no gold membership, it would open a lot of good names that true players could and would use. Im just tired of looking up a
    really nice gamertag all just to be let down by an inactive acount with zero gamerscore. So i was wondering if you could wipe those inactive account gamertags.

    when will they have another gamertag wipe?

    Just wondering when a gamertag wipe will happen because there are a lot of gamertags I want that are inactive for years but aren't deleted off xbox.

    No, there is not. If someone already owns it then it you will not be able to change your Gamertag to it even if it has no Xbox LIVE activity on it. Microsoft did a manual wipe of inactive Gamertags last year, but due to people selling them, they stopped
    it. I am not sure if they will ever do this again but I would keep an eye on the inactive Gamertag and on MajorNelson.com
    incase it ever becomes free or another wipe occurs.

    nope it is random and you are just going to have to wait 5 years or.be more creative

    Keep.in mind not all accounts are xbox live they can be windows 10 or Skype or forums only

    Well actually i was talking to xbox support and they said that i could put in a request because they are doing a inactive gamertag wipe thing. So i can do this actually. They told me to do this. They said they were going to do it in a couple of days.

    But having to wait a potential 14 years for a name is ridiculous, if they're inactive then they GT should be wiped; it won't have an impact on the other services they're using. If they aren't using the name, it should be removed and then they should get a
    random generated one. That's why not long ago there was a huge wipe of the inactive ones.

    Inactive spaced gamertags should be removed and released. They are inactive, 100 percent inactive place holding gamertags.
