Inactive Email adress

SO

I tried logging in to my Xbox 360 for the first time in like FOREVER (maybe a year or two) and I get this pop up message that says that I need to type my Microsoft account Email and password.

"That's odd?" - I think to myself and proceed to press "A" on my controller.

Then on the screen where you type in the info I see that it's autofilled my Email adress with a green highlight, so I just press start to fill it in automatically since I don't remember my password anyway. -.-

But then, I get an error code and a message that basically says that the provided Email adress and password doesn't work...

I try changing the password only to realise that I was using my very very old inactive Email adress from when I got the Xbox 360 back in 2012 or 2013.

I haven't used this Email since back then so like 5 or 6 years. The account and gamertag you see here is a new one that I created for my PC with my CURRENT and ACTIVE Email adress.

But the worst part is that when I chatted with a Microsoft employee they told me that my Email doesn't even exist. 0.o

So not only do I not remember the password, but the entire thing apparently doesn't even exist!

I honestly have no idea what to do, I'm kind of desperate at this point. All my saves and data from 5 - 6 years of gaming will be GONE if I don't get my profile back. (R.I.P to a big part of my childhood ;-

Does anyone else have this problem?

Just include your gamertag.

Tell them you were inactive and they will hopefully reinstate you.

mean machine i am unsure which1 i changed it on..........i done it ages ago,im going to check on my console and try 2 change it from there, the old email adress is inactive and i dont get emails off xbox on my new email
