    Inability to change Name, Location, or Bio


    Hi, I got back from a vacation a week or two ago and haven't been able to edit anything on my profile since.

    Here are the steps I've taken to fix this issue:

    • Deleting and re-downloading my Xbox LIVE profile
    • Power cycling my Xbox 360
    • Restarting my router and modem
    • Clearing my system cache
    Other useful info:

    • I can edit all of these things on other profiles
    • I recently edited my profile on my Xbox One
    • I have recently added somebody to my family on Xbox One
    These are all the things I have done to try to fix this problem and other tidbits of information that I think may be useful. If anybody can help me solve this problem I would be very grateful. Thanks!

    Can't change my bio / location / name (on xbox live)

    Cant change name, location, or bio on the console OR xbox.com. Doesn't even give me the option to do so.

    I just tried that link and can in fact edit my bio through that, but I would also like to be able to edit my profile on my Xbox 360 as well. Thank you for that link though!

    Have you tried to delete your profile, clear your cache, and then download the profile again? That might fix the issue if you are not being able to edit your bio/location/name etc on the console, but you can on Xbox.
