In Reponse to Policy Changes with Live and new XBOX One Bundle Without Kinect

I'm sorry Microsoft but while I do appreciate the policy changes to Live in response to the PS4 beatdown, and to the bundle changes with XBOX ONE and removal of Kinect, I will still never own an XBOX ONE. Too little to late. I have already filled the desktop
with a PS4 and upgraded my PC. Maybe now you will actually get some decent 1080p output from the XBOX ONE. If all these changes had been in place at launch and had you listened to your customers after E3 I might not be sitting here with a PS4. Sadly the damage
has been done and I have no regret owning the PS4. Perhaps next time you decide to build another console you will hire gamers and not marketing executives to build and design your platform. I will still continue to use my XBOXJr here. I would not even be subbed
to Gold now had someone not decided to pay for the account so that I could play.Anyways it's been a good run for Microsoft and I wish everyone the best of luck on XBOX One.

Xbox one with Kinect.

Hi all,

Does the kinect have a impact on how well your games play on the xbox one? I would like to get the bundle with the kinect but if having the kinect slows down the performance when playing games i will just buy the bundle without the kinect.

Any information with be helpful.

Kinectless Bundle NOT !!

That Kinect 2.0 costs as much as the Xbox One console it's self to make they're not going to make money they lost from "used-games" so they'll remove that Kinect and bring out a bundle without it in the new years after everybody has got their unwanted kinect
for christmas

Yes,i am sure microsoft will change everything now you have bough a PS4,just to win you back.

If not i guess they will just have to make do with the tens of millions of customers they already have.

THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT THEY DID.

What we have now is not even the same console as what was shown and revealed at the E3

.

No mandatory kinect.

No internet 24 hr check in.

Used games are playable.

Now we have a bundle without a kinect and people no longer are required to go through the paywall for youtube and netflix.

Why are we stuck in the past rather than embracing the brave new future of entertainment? Because the other console manufacturers wanted a quick buck and decided to cash in on all these gamers who are living in the past. The xbox had no choice but to change
everything to win customers back.. because they were all buying.. ps4.

 

They did all that for the greater good,it was done as a business decision.

The "brave new future" would have left a lot of unsold consoles on the shelf.

Games consoles are supposed to appeal to the masses,not just those with massive disposable incomes.

BTW, PS$ borrowed the pay wall feature of the live service........ Now it's ending so to speak.

If I remember correctly, Xbox did indeed do a 180 after E3... your point is null and void.

I'm more interested in getting an Xbox One now that they don't require me to buy a kinect. These days, I think kinect is pointless. Some may like it, but I like a traditional controller over anything else. I'm very happy to see MS cut the paywall to use
apps and such. That's a big move by them.

They're actually listening to gamers right now, and it's about time.

 

The customer is often wrong or just a lier--- I agree about the troll comment but, apperantly I am not allowed to point that out....
