In regards to Xbox One's game save files.

Even the best technology and the best hard drives eventually fail. This is something i'm sure we are all aware of. Well due to xbox One not supporting offline save transfers (such as moving or copying to a usb) that means that should your hard drive
crash hundreds or even thousands of hours of game data could be lost.

Now for someone with constant internet connectivity the ability to connect and backup the data on the cloud makes this a nonissue, but for those -like myself- who don't have the means to connect to the internet often or even at all this means that while
you can re-install the games from your discs your games saves are gone forever. This post may be useless and get lost in hundreds of others but with luck it will get noticed and something might be able to be done about it. Even the PlayStation 4 allows for
people to save their game data on a usb or external hard drive.

Xbox Live Gold Family on Backwards Compatible Games (Borderlands 2)

I ran into the following situation when we tried to play the 360 version of Borderlands on our home Xbox One:

1. I noticed my Borderlands 2 save file was not under my cloud saves so I hooked up my old Xbox 360 to copy my save file over to the Cloud.

2. When I tried, I could not copy my wife's save files (different gamertag) to the cloud save files (Igot an error saying it wasn't transferable between profiles). She is technically silver on the 360 (maybe?).

3. Back on the One I verified my characters were accessible. This is when I noticed my wife's profile had a cloud save account different than mine (due to Xbox One family gold sharing?)

TLDR

Is there any way to get my wife's save file on the Xbox One's xbox 360 cloud saves? (via USB or Hard Drive or any other method)

Or if we buy one month of xbox live on the 360 to get the cloud saves feature for my wife's account, when it expires will my wife lose those cloud saves on the Xbox One's xbox 360 cloud saves?

How do you create a save file for a backwards compatible game without using an existing save from an Xbox 360 on the cloud?

I don't have access to save files for several backwards compatible games, Borderlands for instance, so I started an entirely new game. I saved it through the start menu seemingly without a problem, but when I went back to play again there wasn't a
save file available. I imagine it's probably because the xbox 360 accessed its hard drive differently than the xbox one does and the game just doesn't know how to access the xbox one's hard drive or the cloud (but thinks it's saving games nonetheless). Has
anyone figured out a way to circumvent this yet?

 

Don't worry,this wont be lost in hundreds of other posts due to the fact hardly anyone uses the forums anymore since they changed them.
