In need of serious help for Artorias

So in an attempt to prepare myself for Dark Souls 2, I decided to purchase the "Artorias of the Abyss" DLC. Now I've been trying to defeat Artorias on NG+ for the past 2 hours and clearly no progress has been made. I have memorized most all of his moves,
except sometimes when you'll think he's open for a hit and he'll immediately attack again (not the 2-3 sword flips in a row attack). I don't know what to do, honestly.

If anyone would like to help out with tips or maybe help me defeat him in co-op play, it would be GREATLY appreciated!

Please don't post useless and annoying replies. To answer you question ichuckles, the xbox formatted it which happens every time a flash drive is hooked up to the xbox, it is required for it to be able to read it.

But when I put my stick back in my comp, I still get all the data000 files, so do you think moving all the stuff over to a new stick would work?

 

It might be posseble to defeat Artorias with magik on youre own,but the only tactiks I can say has worked for me against any of the AOTA-DLC bosses has been fast in,and out strikes,co-op,and a lot of estus.There just a bit too hardcore to take on alone imo.Some
high level phantoms to take away some of the pressure,and give you some room to breath once in a while is what you need

You can go to
darksouls.wiki.fextralife.com/Dark+Souls+Wiki and put your SL in the chat and someone will help you. There are usually about 800 people in the chat. Hope that helps.
