In need of additional storage

Hello,

I am running out of storage on my Xbox 360 250GB hard drive and trying to figure out what options are available for external storage. My console is the Limited Edition Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 console that came with Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. I
believe that is an Xbox 360 Elite, but I am not sure.

Regardless, I am trying to determine what I can use for external storage. Should I use a flash drive? Or is my console compatible with the Xbox 360 had drives that say they are compatible with the Xbox 360 E and Xbox 360 S consoles? Are there other options
available? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Using a portable HDD

The portable HDD will not work on/with your XBox, you must use a Official Xbox HDD.

Need an additional Option

I would really like the option to complete the puzzle after the challenge has been attained. I love the daily challenges, but find myself trying to co as much as I can before I complete the challenge.

I would also like to have a menu item to play the random puzzles outside of the daily challenge.

You can have up to 2 USB devices plugged in for extra storage and up to 2TB of storage on each.

 

When purchasing an external drive, avoid Seagate. I'd strongly recommend going with a Western Digital 2 TB external.

 

Smwutches, that is the console that I have.

While researching this it seemed like at one point only 16GB flash drives were compatible with the 360. And then it appears earlier this year MS had a firmware upgrade that allowed 2TB external drives such as the Western Digital referenced by Irixion to
be used for additional storage? That is what I am trying to clarify as I have never had to use external storage on a console before.
