In my Xbox one was an error 102 but i can't do offline update

To fix the specific E102 error you are seeing on the console as well, if you have. Not anymore. If all the offline update troubleshooting can't help with the problem on your console, it's probably time to look for the service.

No solution so far despite following all options. Still alternating between Error 101 and 102.

My son is heartbroken as the device is only 6 months old and we are in lockdown. I tried the OSU1 update and also the offline reset to factory.

I've done this multiple times. Sometimes itll work and give me the troubleshoot screen. But no matter what I've done from there, i always get the same error 102. I tried offline update to correct it. Waited for 2 hours and it froze at 86%

sorry to hear. If you got the start up error 102, and thats why you tried to fix it with a "Offline System Update" you do not have to buy a new
console. You can check here,
if you console is still on waranty and also start the repair order. Or did you received another error code during setup?
