In gta when I go near a mission it goes to a black screen then restarts

I'm really sorry you're going through this problem, could you go to settings/system/storage, select your storage device and look for the GTA game there, select it and look for files that say corrupt or have a ! in yellow on them, if you find any you will need to delete them, it may also be worth checking the entire storage device to see if there are any files that are showing corrupt or are labeled ! in yellow too.

If nothing appears, it would be a good idea to delete the game and install it again.

For me Whenever I Die (which is a lot because its on elite) I press restart checkpoint and the screen just goes black. And I I have to quit to dashboard, and then when I replay it I've lost all my mission progress!

Yes this only occurs when I'm on one mission the CPU goes and starts to beat up everyone when I drop her off then my player just sits there and I can't move or pause the game so it forces me to go to the dashboard and restart my GTA SA

I've tried the mission again and again multiple times but it does the same thing.
