In game voice chat not working.

I'm not fully sure if this is an Xbox problem but no matter what game I play I can't hear nor talk to anyone. Xbox partys work fine but when I want to talk to people in game I can't hear them or talk to them. I've re-setted my Xbox multiple times, changed headsets and controllers and I still have the same problems. I don't know what to do. Please help.

Fr tho.... party chat works its game chat, as in in-game voice chat that doesn’t work and no one seems to know why.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

Kindly perform an extended powercycle and reset your network hardware by following the steps below:

1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

I don't know if this changes anything but I dont have a wireless headset.

Hello, since you have already the troubleshooting steps you have mentioned before, I would like you to try the troubleshooting steps on both those links first:

Troubleshoot your Xbox Wireless Headset | Xbox Support

If none of those fix your issue, I believe that you will need to create an order for your devices Getting your Xbox device serviced | Xbox Support.
