OK, you do realize that Netflix sends 1 (as in, one) DVD to a person at a time, right? This is why it costs more for postage. A video game publisher doesn't just send one copy at a time to (say) Gamestop. They ship a HUGE inventory to a warehouse and
then Gamestop covers the shipping costs to their individual stores. (I honestly can't believe I needed to break this down.)

Publisher bases ALL of their Business Decisions on Money. You don't think that if the cost of going 'Digital Only' was supposedly so pricey as Manufacturing Hard Copies that they wouldn't push so hard for the Industry to move in this direction? I mean, that

I think it's crazy that people don't mind paying upwards of a 100 quid for a game. That's absurd. Arkham99 obviously loves Batman and would pay any amount, but the rest of you that don't mind paying that much for games is actually shocking.

a copy of Warner Bros. Manufacturing Bill for the total cost of 4.6 Million Copies of the DVD and how much for the shipping, but I don't actually work for them you see, but anyone with a brain can easily see that going 'Digital Only' would've saved the Publisher

I think it used to bother me more with CoD. But eventually the pre-order stuff will get unlocked for everyone most of them time. Luckily I'm a patient person.

As for DLC if I really like a game I don't mind paying for extra content. But Day 1 DLC annoys me more than anything.

In game unlocks are fine. Pre-Orders are fine.

The only thing hurting games is gamers themselves.

Gamers claim they want innovation. Gamers claim they want something fresh and new. And claim to want new IP's.

When in reality they want only slight changes, and a number behind the title and yearly releases.
