In-game settings not working for backwards compatible games?

A friend of mine bought his family the Xbox One Gears of War set around Christmas 2015. At the time, he told me his son liked the GoW games, but my friend was frustrated that the swearing wasn't bleeped out, despite the setting being turned on to do so.
Fast forward to today and I'm having a similar problem with Fallout: New Vegas.

I played and beat F:NV years ago, but recently got my hands on the DLC. Not really interested in the fully immersive experience as before, my goal was to level up quickly, get some good gear, then play the DLC. I also didn't want to keep seeing the kill
cam, so I disabled that and set the game to Very Easy. What I'm seeing are kill cam shots and am frustrated with dying or barely killing enemies. My character feels weak, enemies feel incredibly strong, and that made me think back to my friend's GoW issue.

I've checked the settings, multiple times. The settings show that the kill cam is off, that the game is on Very Easy, and yet, I know the former isn't true and the latter certainly doesn't seem like it with the constant struggles. I spoke with Xbox tech
support earlier today, hoping to bring some attention to this. I'm hoping to provide other examples where the in-game settings are not honored so that Microsoft can get this fixed.

Bioshock Infinite is not being recognized as compatible

Everything is working on my Xbox One, it recognizes all the Xbox One game discs I put in, and other Backwards Compatible 360 games, however, when I put in the disc for Bioshock Infinite, it says that the game is not compatible with Xbox One, despite it being
on the list for backwards compatible games. Not quite sure what to do.

I got loads of xbox 360 games on cd rom disc and they are not working for backwards compatibility even though these games are on the official list of backwards compatible games. What is wrong? I read online that xbox 360 games on disc are also supposed
to be backwards compatible with xbox one.

I just went through the page and none of the items listed were helpful, so I've submitted the survey with a video link. I submitted an example of the problem with Gears of War since that was easier to showcase the problem. I'll try to capture something for
Fallout: New Vegas.
