    In need of help ... i have one account with two profiles. If i were to buy some in game currency on profile one, could i use the same purchased currency on profile Two?

    Microsoft points changed to currency.

    Your points have been converted to currency & is linked to your account.Once you download your profile to a console with the beta on you will have the option to use the currency to buy things.

    Your friend does not have your points/currency.

    Are you trying to buy DLC?

    -

    If your profile has been on a console that is in the beta for the new dashboard then it will be updated to use the local currency of that profile and not Microsoft points. So in my case my profile would now be using Pound Sterling.

    -

    The problem is that a lot of things on LIVE are not yet set up to use currency, so will throw up errors.

    No. It would only work on the account it is purchased on.

    So im a xbox newbie ... i only have one account, but multiple profiles ,,,, so then i could use the currency across profile?

    Each profile is considered a separate account. You could only use the currency on the account it was purchased on.

    Family Account/Screentime/Fortnight

    That type of content will not be able tk be transferred as it is attached directly to your profile. You can share the game itself using the home xbox setting but will have to give him currency to buy new stuff on the new profile.
