    Thank you for posting on Xbox Forums. In regards to this gifting issue, when you go to your Order history, do you see the purchase order for the Gold Bars? If so, does the order mention anything about gifting it to your friend? Your friends email or
    Gamertag should appear next to the order. Has your friend received any emails pertaining to the gifted item or possibly any Xbox live messages pertaining to the gifted item?

    Also make sure to check your purchase history to see if the purchase went through.

    the gifted code should show up in Messages from Xbox which show up below
    Chats and Chat Requests

    tell your friend to check there for the code.

    Why dont they fix this broken automatic enforcement

    Offering to buy/sell/trade real life currency is not permitted including not limited to gift cards, real money, accounts and other possessions but can you show me somewhere in the TOS/COC that does not mention a real life item? Its not against the rules. Trading ingame currency for a item(using game mechanics) is not mentioned only real life currency and items.

    i accidentally redeemed a xbox gift card on the wrong account

    There's no way to transfer items/content redeemed on another account. If you redeemed a currency card on the account, you can buy the item as a gift for your other account.
