In game audio auto-mutes, cloud gaming Xbox game pass

I can see that you're experiencing issues with the audio in your cloud gaming Xbox game pass. One possible solution is to try clearing the cache of the Xbox Game Pass app on your Samsung smart TV. Here are the steps to do so:



1. Press the Home button on your Samsung smart TV remote.

2. Navigate to the Xbox Game Pass app and highlight it.

3. Press and hold the Enter button on your remote until a menu appears.

4. Select "Settings" from the menu.

5. Scroll down to "Clear cache" and select it.

6. Confirm that you want to clear the cache.



After clearing the cache, try launching a game again and see if the audio issue persists. If it does, you may want to try uninstalling and reinstalling the app again as a temporary solution until a permanent fix is found.

Hi Samy, after more testing I figured out the cloud interface was auto-setting to Muted. I kept re-launching the game and unmuting it, and eventually the sound stayed on.

Just to clarify, your issue is that you're unable to hear game audio on Cloud Gaming? Or are you having issues with mic, like your party cannot hear you?

If it's an audio issue, can you please confirm if you are using a wireless/bluetooth headset? Please note that when your controller is connected via Bluetooth, audio devices connected through the controller are not supported. To use a headset, connect your headset directly to your device.

If you’re in a party while playing a game and others in the party can’t hear you, you may be muted. To unmute yourself:

>While in the game, select the More actions button (…).

>If the Muted icon is highlighted or crossed out, you’re currently muted. Press the icon to unmute.

If you have not muted your mic physically, then you could be muted on your Parental Controls, by Xbox LIVE (possibly by Xbox Enforcement), or by a game. Does this problem only occur on specific games? Certain games such as Halo: Reach have
an auto-mute system that will mute you to everyone if you have been muted by enough people.
