    It works if you put the effort into it. It could have been a great interface, but I think the Kinect developers didn't approach the design from the right perspective.

    If they focused on it being a 2D interface, it might have become a killer app. It may have replaced the remote.

  2. Other uses for Kinect besides gaming

    There was one guy that rigged up an in home defense turret that used the kinect motion sensor .Myself I would tie a rope to my kinect and use it to grapple up walls.

    I will not be using the Kinect for ME3.

    In defense of the negativity presented by some on this thread, its title is "I will NOT be using the Kinect for ME3", so, I'm not sure what people expect to see here...In defense of the Kinect. :)

    It still exists and people can still buy it after buying a stand alone console, it's not just going to vanish.
