In dash ad (4 months of GROOVE for FREE) was too good to be true?

Greetings to whomever reads this.

Last month, an ad popped up on my XBOX ONE dash and it stated the following-

LIMITED TIME OFFER

FOUR FREE MONTHS OF GROOVE MUSIC PASS

Too good to be true? Sign up for a Free 30-day GROOVE MUSIC Pass and we will send you a code for a 3 more months.

It has come to my attention that when I contacted the CHAT for inquiring as to what happened, they informed me that I did not see such a thing and that the one I signed up for only gave 3 months if I bought 1. As can be seen in the image, this one stated
sign up for 30 days and get a 3 month code. It does not state that one has to be bought in order for this to take place.

None of the people that signed up have been charged or gotten the 3 more months. Is there going to be anything done about this as it clearly states to sign up for a Free 30 days to get more free time. There is no asterisk informing that there is more to
do and this was put out just as Preview members were just getting to test background music on the XBOX ONE, which made it seem this was a promotion to see how it worked before going open.

Thank you for looking into this and for not telling me that no such promotion exists. It popped in the XBOX ONE, I helped my friends find it by refreshing their Dashboard until it appeared, and now we sit here with no 3 more months codes delivered as per
the front page informs.

Looking forward to seeing what happens

I signed up to the trail but didn't get the token for 3 months of Groove Music Pass within the 30 days

Never got 3 month groove code

I was supposed to get 4 months of groove free. I never recieved the email with trial code for the 3 months

Any news. How long does it take to validate that I signed up before the offer end date and to issue a code as promised????? Over 3 weeks since first I contacted Microsoft about this. Disgraceful.

On 4 Sept 2016 I received an email from Microsoft that stated:-

So having signed up on the 12 August (before the 17th August deadline) I await the code for the 3 months free pass.

Been communicating with Microsoft since the 7th Sept 2016 concerning this issue, firstly with Microsoft Billing Support (with an agent called Jell B), then the Microsoft Answer Desk (ref # 1354697697) than the X-Box forum with Lady Ross (Service Request
1354698403 ) then on this forum. Getting a little frustrated.
