    Hello, a while ago I made some purchases in Modern Combat 5 but did not receive the items. The game developers said the transaction did not reach them so I should get a refund from Microsoft. Microsoft support says they can't refund because the eligibility
    period is over. So now, I'm neither getting the items nor my money back.

    I don't need the refund, I want the in-game items I already paid for(credits and VIP points).

    Any help on what I should do now?

    Hi ShagunPandey,

    Thank you for coming to the Xbox forums. This does not happen very often, but ultimately it is up to the developers of the game to send you any in-game purchases. This game is not available on Xbox One but I recommend re-installing the game on whatever device
    you play this on.

    If the re-installation does not help, then you will need to contact Playrix Games.

    I'm not sure if there is currently an offer to receive points for that purchase, but you would need to check the Microsoft Rewards app on the console. Usually if there is an offer to receive points for a specific game, it's part of a punchcard and you have to activate the punchcard before the purchase to get the points.

    I would recommend logging in to your
    billing history
    and check to see if the purchase is listed there. If you bought the app via the Microsoft Store then your purchase would be listed. If the purchase is listed but you still have not received the app then contact support
    via this link.

    If you purchased the app from a 3rd party online retailer then you would need to contact them for more support.
