Improving Xbox One (Rename Xbox & Gamerpic choice)

Hi!

Soo i personally hate calling my Xbox "Xbox this, Xbox that" every time i want it to listen! Not only is it goofy but also nerdy and not in a good way (very awkward when you have guests or your girlfriend over). I think it would
be AWSOME if we can pick our own name to call our xbox!!!

Also if we could use Xbox glass to pick and crop any pic on our cellphone and use that to update our gamerpic would be freaking awesome as well! Its those small things that will make this awesome product even more freaking awesome!

Anyone else disappointed by the lack of Gamerpics on Xbox One?

I understand there are other, more important things, for MS and us to be concerned about. I also understand not everyone cares, but what's up with the lack of Gamerpics on Xbox One?

It's been over a year and half since the launch of the Xbox One, and there's rarely any Gamerpics. Not only is there a lack of Gamerpics, but the ones that are there suck ass imo. None are game-related, and they're all some weird ass, trippy, art-work.

What is this?





The Xbox 360 didn't launch with a lot of Gamerpics either, but the 360 Gamerpic library built up insanely fast, and there were actual game-related pics. Even if it wasn't game-related, most of them were pretty cool.

The Xbox 360 currently has a library of over 22,000 Gamerpics.

It's an xbox one gamerpic,not a 360 one.

Did have a look around & couldn't find it anywhere so not sure where it comes from.

 

Renaming your Xbox is definitely an amusing albeit actually quite clever idea.

 

You will never get customized gamerpics. Too many would abuse this for all!

And are you trying to leave update preview feedback?

 

Soo its awkward to say Xbox do this but its not awkward if you say something else? That makes no sense at all

 

The instant you start giving commands to thin air, they're going to realize what you're using. So if merely saying the word "xbox" is awkward and nerdy to you, then you shouldn't even want people to know you have it. In my experience, when I've had a lady
or friends over and I start popping out commands to my xbox, they were impressed by the cool technology

The gamerpic thing is a pretty cool idea, though. I actually made a thread a while ago about how we should be able to use kinect to take a selfie to use as our gamerpics. Same general idea. Personalized gamerpics.

What's never going to happen? The gamerpic thing? Seriously dude, what year do you live in? Saying it will never happen because of the "potential for abuse" is seriously the most ignorant thing I've ever heard. Unless you're telling me Twitter, Facebook,
And Instagram are going to be shut down because of the "potential for abuse".

Maybe they should get rid of gamertags and everyone should be assigned an ID number because there is the "potential for abuse". This is really beyond simple. If someone puts up an inappropriate image, they get reported. The image is removed, And if bad enough,
the console gets banned. No one is going to throw a console in the garbage just for some lulz.
