Improved Report System

Despite not seeing it anywhere on the update's notes, I just noticed that if you go to report someone, there are now more options available to you, post-update.

If you would like to gain more info regarding this enforcement action on your account, we recommend submitting a

Case Review when you get a chance.

If the decision on your enforcement action is upheld, then I'm afraid there would not be a way to alter this. You'll need to wait until the suspension ends.

I play mostly Overwatch now and have been reported so many times over the past 2 months from asking people to switch heroes to help better the team and win. I have over 260 hours this season and all the reports of me have put me into the avoid me category.
I feel this is unfair to have toxic players who don't try in competitive to have all the power to remove me from a game I love playing.

 

You must spend more time reporting people than actually playing games.

 

Not really Listed Mia; I probably report 1 person a day, if that, usually for their gamertag if it's inappropriate.

 

Geek chill out dude. I don't get offended by Gamertags.

 

Lol, it makes me laugh on the stupid things in my opinion that could waste time clicking on a report button for nothing, that report button is for bullying, verbal abuse,a group of people giving a new gamer grief for being new, harassing messages or pictures....but
for a propably light hearted gamertag, come on?

XBOX have better things to do with their time, glad of the options but reporting has to be pretty serious for me to go beyond mute and block.

Ive renctly been hosting loads of nfs rivals lobbys and the language can be terrible from a small minority, but I have no need to cause a big palavor over it when I have the mute and block options.

FREEDOM is a beautiful thing but there will always be those who like to cage everything.

I report those who I feel have violated the CoC and ToU - if someone's gamertag represents a curse word or a sexual body part, I'm going to report it, no ins, ands, or buts - it's my responsibility as a united enforcer.

That being said, I think we're getting off-topic & starting to point fingers, which is wholly unnecessary (especially for someone who's trying to do the right thing). This thread is about the changes to the reporting system post-update - specifically that
they've added new options to it. I for one am happy to see the changes and believe that it can only be a good thing. What about you?

 

If the Gamertag passes the auto filter for offensive names, I don't feel the need to report someone for being creative. The biggest laughs come from some clever tags. I think you take that role way to serious @Geek. That's all I'll say.

 

If your united enforcement then using the united enforcement feature would be ten times more reliable and efficient.

I guess 100 Gamertag reports per day is just not enough for you huh?

I get the ToC violations but really just play the game and let P.e.t and the mods do their job.

They can't do their jobs unless we use the reporting tools.

 

Now you've come out with that i would presume people are now going to watch out for you thinking it was you who reported them and possibly abuse the system, i believe a system can be abused and i also believe that a person who has an hard time accepting
that his or her point may not be the only answer may become vindictive, i also believe that a person who jumps on a forum and applies to be some part in an official capacity may not necessarily have the right credentials or right frame of mind to be in that
