    XBOX LIVE Should be free

    I am aware of the content filters available when playing over Live, Party Chat is also a great feature to avoid the foul mouths.

    -

    My point was that while the enforcement of complaints is swift, it is nearly impossible to avoid meeting people who mistake trash-talk to mean abusive insults.

    -

    The enforcement team do a good job but there is simply not enough of them to go out onto the Live service and live police the service.

    Can someone please respond to me. How ridiculous I a situation where Ivan longer get through to people in a discussion about not being able to contact the company. I'll just have to start another question and go though this again.

    You're welcome.

    We appreciate you have let us know an update about your contact with our support.

    This is odd, if the cancelation of your Xbox subscription went through, you should not be charged for two months with this subscription. We would like to set your expectation that Community doesn't have the ability to check or handle account/refund concerns since we do not have the right tool to process such request.

    Now, that you are charged last month, we would recommend you to check your account's services and subscription then make sure that you cancel your subscription. There should be two choices available for you: cancel and get refunded (if eligible) & cancel and turning off of recurring billing. Any case, you have successfully chose one of them, then you should not be charge in 2 months.

    That is why it is odd that you were charged for two months' worth of subscription, well in fact, you are not using it. Your best option really is to manually cancel your subscription or contact support.

      • Go to the Services & subscriptions page for your account. Services & subscriptions
        • Select Manage next to the subscription you want to cancel.
        • Select Cancel subscription or Turn off recurring billing.

    I seem to recall a thread that I was assisting which had issues with contacting chat support too. They have fixed it by updating their phone's system. Since, it was not detailed out here that you were having issues contacting support with phone, you may try few troubleshooting that have worked on to others.

    Suggested troubleshooting:

    • Launch browser's InPrivate Window and use that to got to support's website: Browse InPrivate in Microsoft Edge
    • Turn off VPN and Proxy that may have caused issues with contacting support in your locale.
    • Use another browser, connect to different network, or use a different device.
