Impossible to sign into my XBox Live account on my XBox 360

First let me explain that my XBox Live account has been deactivated due to me not seeing much use for it at the moment since my home net is quite laggy compared to your standard Live players, however I still sign into my XBox 360 through this account because
not only is it my primary account, but technically is my only account save the account my cousin made when I was visiting him for Thanksgiving to try a game out with me. Well, a friend told me of a new DLC on a game I own for the XBox 360 and I sign in to
check it out since it's been a few months since I played it. This goes without a hitch and the game even had me download a system update for it due to it being so long since it was last played. After this just out of curiosity I wanted to see if I could access
the Cloud Storage despite the deactivated Live status.

This is where things went wrong. Because as soon as I did this, XBox asks me to sign in with my email and password, which were remembered on the system. But each time I tried this, and I say each time because I had to try it like 8 times before I got fed
up with it, it said there was an error signing in. I know my net sometimes disconnects me from XBox because of how it is, but it wouldn't be interfering with signing in like this. So as I keep trying it, it's irritating me more and more. Eventually on my way
to do a ninth attempt I accidentally erased the password that was saved in there. So I put in my password manually, which I knew was correct because this gaming computer I'm on requires me to sign in with it to use it. But the XBox 360 tells me my email and
password are wrong. So I try a variety of other passwords I've used before and each one is wrong as well. That's when I see it's showing a code of 8015D002. So I look it up online and checked my Xbox Live status as Solution 1 suggested and the status says
I should be in working order. Solution 2 was vastly unhelpful as the information in it and the details on the Microsoft account site differed too much. So I had to opt for Solution 3 and cleared a flash drive of mine of any data, putting important things onto
an external hard drive so I wouldn't lose the data. I follow the steps for Solution 3 exactly.

I then try to sign in after letting my Xbox remain turned off for at least 10 seconds before turning it back on. The error code was gone and it didn't say the email was wrong this time, but said each password was wrong. And I didn't want to change my Microsoft
password, but I did it anyway and then see if I could sign in with this new password and my XBox 360 said that even this new password was wrong. So I try again twice more, which is when the 8015D002 error code appeared again... After that I just gave up and
turned off my Xbox 360 for the rest of the night.

I have no explanation for this other than that maybe this XBox 360 is starting to present errors because I bought a used one. If you have a different idea, please let me know.

360 and One on same gold account

If I sign in to Xbox Live on my Xbox One, will I also be able to sign in on the same account on my 360 at the same time? Say someone is using the Xbox One in the living room and I'm playing my 360 in my bedroom. Will I be able to use the same account?


WHITTEN: Yes this works! You'll be able to be signed on with the same gamertag on both an Xbox 360 and an Xbox One console at the same time. However, like today, you can only be signed into one Xbox 360 and one Xbox One at a time

xbox live issues

i have a live account but bought a new xbox 360. its wanting me to join xbox live. how do i just sign into my xbox live account on my new 360 without making a new account?

 

Nevermind... Finally got it working. Still a bit of a pain to get it working again.

 

Would like to know how TheLionOfDark resolved this issue as I am struggling with the same.
