Impossible to redeem Games With Gold for 360

Hi,

I signed up for a Gold membership this morning. I was able to download the two Games With Gold for Xbox One on my console. I understand I must have an Xbox 360 or go online to redeem Borderlands, so I have no choice but to do it online. However, when I'm
signed in, the Games With Gold page only prompts me to "Join Xbox Live Gold".

An important detail would be that I only signed up for the free 1 month trial for now. But when I do click the button to "join xbox live gold", it gives me the different choices, including the free 1 month trial even though I already bought it (and it does
work on my console). I checked and it's the same account and everything. I even tried using the smartglass app just in case it would work.

Any help would be appreciated! I'm sorry if this was asked before but I couldn't find anything.

Games with gold 360 - Impossible to purchase

Hello, I cannot buy the Free Games with Gold "LEGO Star Wars : LSC", it gives me an error "impossible to purchase". But I have a correct payment method and I bought, in the same period, another 360 game from the marketplace. How can I solve this?

Free Trials will not let you purchase the 360 Games with Gold. You will only be able to get the Xbox One games.

This is clarified on the support page.

For Xbox 360 console customers only:

• You can’t redeem backward-compatible Games with Gold with this type of Xbox Live Gold trial.

For Games for gold, you will need a paid Gold membership. Trial memberships do not count.

For the Xbox One games, you will need an active gold membership to play them.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I have the 1 month trial (with credit card), and it let me download the two Xbox one games. It's just the Xbox 360 one I can't download.

Also, the Games With Gold FAQ (support.xbox.com/.../games-with-gold-faq) specifically says the Gold membership trials with credit card are elligible.
I did input my credit card info.

I checked again and now it worked. I just had to wait some more.

 

Forgive me, I assumed when you said you had the trial, you didn't put in a form of payment.
