Impossible to get OPEN NAT?!

Hi all, past month ive been trying to get my NAT to be open (moderate now) Tried call my phone company even spoke with a expert that cost me 3 euro a minute! He also dont understand. We tried to "open" all ports didnt help, open the specific ports for Xbox
live didnt help. I even bought a new router to fix this and still same problem. Wire or Wifi its no different. Sometimes i have open for a couple of hours but then its moderate again. I have a ZyXEL P8702N and a ASUS RT-N66U Dark Knight N900. i again sit on
my computer trying to fix this but cant find the problem no matter what i do it will not be permanent Open

Impossible to open

Try getting all the latest windows updates by typing 'check for updates' in the windows search bar (win10 only). Then when the window appears click on the button a few times (some updates won't appear until you install previous ones).

After the updates are all installed and clicking the button does nothing, reboot and then start Jigsaw.

If this doesn't work, write back and provide your DXDiag information (type dxdiag in search bar, then click on the "save all information" button in the window that appears and then save and email the file.

 

Impossible to open

I have been trying to play the daily challenges, but nothing happens and the game closes. It's been like this for two days. What's going on?

 

Both devices are routers. You will need to make sure the ZyXEL P8702N will need to be configured to run in bridge mode. That mean that ALL routing capabilities of the device needs to be disabled. If any of the route features are left enabled then it
will cause NAT issues. Not sure how the ASUS device is currently configured but make sure that UPnP is enabled. Once all that is done test again. Let us know. Good Luck!!

 

That didnt help much Lost my entire internet when i switch ZyXel into Bridge Mode, hard reset and its working again. Of course Routing and not bridge mode. I got this other router 3 weeks ago, before that when i was only using ZyXel i still had same problem.
Open ports, DMZ enabled, UPnP enabled but still Moderate on my xbox. Some lucky hours i have Open but 99% of the time its Moderate. Im connected with a cable from Zyxel Ethernet to WAN port on ASUS

 

I have all the necessary ports open on the ASUS

 

If you are using the ZyXel for a modem then it needs to be in bridge mode. Unless you have something sitting in the DMZ it doesn't need to be enabled. Do you have a static/reserved IP address on the xbox? If not then you should also do that and set that
IP# up with the ports that you have forwarded. Make sure you have all the ports forwarded.

•Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

•Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

•Port 80 (TCP)

•Port 500 (UDP)

•Port 3544 (UDP)

•Port 4500 (UDP)

FYI, I have a combo device that I am using in bridge mode and a Netgear router. I use UPnP enabled without any ports forwarded and I have an open NAT.

You sure the Zyxel can run in Bridge mode? When I put it into bridge mode I don't have any Internet. I don't know why but as soon I took it into bridge my Internet was not working. I will test something tomorrow and come back with an update

 

Yes, it should run in bridge mode. Do you have any other devices between the Zyxel and the ISP?

 

When its in bridge mode make sure you are plugged into the #1 port on the back , bridge mode kills all the other ports , I have seen that overlooked lots or times....you need to reboot everything also after you change it....
