Discus and support impossible to connect to xbox app on computer also tu the hub insider in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; when i open the xbox app, its already says that it enable to connect with the code error 0x406 and when i try with the hub insider app, it says...     when i open the xbox app, its already says that it enable to connect with the code error 0x406 and when i try with the hub insider app, it says (excep_fromhresult 0x80004005) (0x80004005), i dont now what to do at this point

    Win10 Hub Xbox Insider. Impossible to run the app.

    Hi,

    I'm trying to launch the Hub Xbox Insider on Windows 10, to install Sea Of Thieves and everytime i launch the app, i've got this message :

    "Unspecified error (Excep_FromHResult 0x80004005) (0x80004005)"

    Same thing with Xbox App !

    Any suggestions ?

    • Were you able to open the Xbox app without any issues before?
    • Have you made any changes on your computer prior to this concern?
    • Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Xbox app?

    Hey

    I had the same problem. You might have aswell turned off the Xbox Services at one point an that causes the trouble.

    Press the Start button, Search for "System Configuration", Go to the Services tab, Scroll down to Xbox, and enable everything that is Xbox related. After a quick reboot I was able to sign in to the Xbox Insider Hub.

    I hope this one helps.

    Typing on xbox one since recent dashboard update.

    These things happen in the Xbox preview. the best thing to do is report it using the Xbox insider hub. press the Nexus button (Xbox Button) down on the controller until the shutdown option pops up, then select report a problem, and continue from there.
    If you can't use the virtual keyboard in the insider hub, then connecting the xbox app on your phone or tablet to the xbox will work just as good or using the console companion app will also work too.
