Impossible security measures!

My boyfriend recently tried accessing his account on our 360 and it started demanding more security again. We have had this issue before and I can't remember how we got around it last time.

We already have his e-mail address registered, as well as his phone number since the e-mail address apparently wasn't good enough. He couldn't get into his e-mail account for a good long while due to a totally unrelated issue and so the conformation for
his phone number is well and truly lost in time. The system refused to resend the e-mail so he could confirm his phone number so we used MY e-mail address.

It was ok with that for a while but then decided it didn't like that either and demanded a new phone number again. So we used mine. I actually verified the phone number while I still could. It sent me a code which i needed to get a different code which was
used to unlock something else to tell the Xbox that we were actually ok with this phone number (over reacting much? im trying to log in, not launch a nuke). All went through, it thanked us, we clicked ok.....

.....and it demanded a new e-mail address and phone number.

At this point I am not only out of useable e-mail addresses short of borrowing neighbors and family, but we are also out of useable cell phones and I am not willing to go buy a third cell phone just to satisfy this thing's bloodlust for information. How
do I just log into the damned account?

My Xbox keeps asking for 2 security proofs before I sign-in. An extra e-mail is enough. I do not need two.

My question is how can I bypass the security check?

Hello, this is not an answer to my question.

I understand you are an Xbox ambassador and you have obviously have no idea on the point of this question, but thank you for your input and time.

I do not wish to be triple security checked. Microsoft has my XBL associated e-mail and a secondary e-mail, why should i be colluded into giving more personal information?

The first time it popped up when i pressed cancel, it signed me out. When I attempted to sign-in again it popped up again! Following this I declined and it signed me out again. The third time it let me log into Xbox Live with no issues.

Microsoft doing it in this way, does not entrust confidence. They are just data mining for whatever purpose they believe my phone number will help them. They are preying on those who do not know any better (who will input right away) and those who think
it's impassable (got you on the second time). Those who refuse for a second time get to go on their merry way.

 

Sorry to hear you're having issues. Do you have Two-Step Verification on? If so, follow the steps at the link below to turn it off.

Athough that may have helped while we were trying to validate, my email and phone number have already been validated, my boyfriends email and phone number are being rejected, and neither can be entered again. From what I understand, his account is totally
unusable unless we get a third phone number or make another email address, as It won't accept what we already registered as good enough.

I can access the site but it doesn't give me the option to turn it off. Just to set it up. So I assume it was never on in the first place. It's now demanding that he installs a windows security app on his cell phone in order to access his e-mail in order
to access his Xbox profile. At this point, I estimate we will have to likely also sign up for a mailing list, put our names on a government file somewhere, buy a car, and sell our firstborn child to natives before we are allowed to access this blasted account.

We are gonna play around with the settings for a bit but I think we are either going to have to call customer service (which, given past experience, i don't hold out high hopes for) or just abandon the account altogether along with his save files and scores
and start over again with a fresh account..... at least until it starts denying us access on that one too unless we jump through a million hoops.
