Imposible to pair Xbox One controller

Hello,

I bought a few days ago a new xbox one controller for the pc. The controller run fine with my bluetooth device until I update the firmware with the app Xbox Accessories yesterday.

Now It's imposible to pair the controller with the bluetooth device, I only can use it with USB cable.

Is it posible a backup of the original firmware in order to make funcional the bluetooth of the controller again? Or a new firmware that repair the problem?

I am trying to connect a Xbox one controller to my Xbox but the pair button doesn't work.

Recently my Xbox one fell on the floor and the side plate fell off, and the pair button is fried. About a week later I paired my Xbox one controller to my phone but, I can't pair the controller to my Xbox one again because... my pair button is fried. What
do I do?

(FYI if this helps I have the original Xbox one.)

Sorry to hear about the controller trouble. If you type in devices your Windows search bar and select Devices, do you see the controller under Bluetooth devices? If so, try removing the device from there and adding it back to your PC. Let us know how it goes

I have tried it and still not working (. Hope there is a new firmware update soon.

The original Xbox 360 controllers do not support traditional Bluetooth and as such won't pair. To pair a Xbox 360 controller you will need to purchase an adapter that you plug into your PC. The official one, I believe, can still be ordered on Amazon.

If you want to just straight up pair a controller to a PC without the need for an adapter, recent Xbox One controllers use normal Bluetooth and would pair without issue - https://www.pcgamer.com/xbox-one-controller-on-pc/ will
tell you how to spot which ones will support this as the original Xbox One controllers don't.

Press the pairing button on your controller: On your controller, there is a pairing button (usually on the bottom of the controller, near the Xbox button). Press and hold this button until the LED on your controller starts blinking.

Wait for it to pair: The LED on your controller should stop blinking and turn one of four colors, indicating that the pairing was successful.

just asking but have you tried both pairing buttons. One on the controller and one on the Xbox. Make sure you hold down the button on the controller. It should start flashing when ready to pair with the Xbox.
