Imposible Modificar los Gamertag [Translate] Unable to Modify Gamertags

Good Morning

We have been trying to modify our Gamertag for several months on different days and it is impossible for us, we have already contacted several times and we have checked that the GTs were available in the community in case that was the problem and they are available, but we are continually it prevents modifying it.

Please, please check if there is any problem and give us an urgent solution.

There are 2 friends who are having the same problem.

Hi everyone. I'm one of the two players affected by this error. It's happening since December so I'm starting to get angry because Microsoft is not giving me any solution. This change costs me money and if I can't choose whatever I want, I won't change it.

I've tried with many Gamertags but always says: It's already taken, error happened, try again; or things like that. It doesn't matters if I try with CVK , CVK jwbjdowb, CVK, CVK Gazpacho or anything. It still making error.

So please, if anybody knows something about this, help us!

What error does come up when you try to change the name of the gamertag?

Thanks for all the info and all the updates.

I'm thinking that the issue might be with the CVK being at the beginning of the Gamertag. I don't know why but from what you've described,

that seems to be the only constant in all of this.

Have you tried "Deynonicus CVK" …. where the CVK is not at the beginning? Let us know!

Are they trying to put any like special characters like { } or [ ] in front and behind the three letters?

Special characters like this are not allowed in gamer only letters, numbers and spaces are allowed in the gamertags so it sounds like they may be putting in something other than those things and thats why its giving them the errors.

The format of all our gamertag has always been the same Example: CVK (SPACE) (NAME) No attempt has been made to put any element of the named and we do not know what the problem may be. As I mentioned
in the post above, what tells my colleagues is that the names already exist whatever they put and we have checked and are not in the community.
