I can't import dance central and dance central 2 to dance central 3

Dance Central 2 Different Codes

Hi,

I believe the normal 25 digit code included in your Dance Central 2 game is Microsoft currency that could be used to buy and download Dance Central songs from the Xbox Marketplace.

The 16 digit code would be used to redeem in-game I believe to import/export songs from Dance Central 1 to Dance Central 2.

bear in mind however, the servers for the 1st 2 games are no longer around, so it's possible that the feature to transfer the songs may have also been discontinued.

 

I know how to import it but when I put the 16 digal code it i can't purchase it

 

Hello Andreas,

Where are you trying to enter the 16 digit code? All Microsoft/Xbox codes are 25 digit.

Thanks for reaching out to us! We understand this situation can be frustrating. We have noticed others were having a similar issue as well. When entering the code, does it provide a message like an error code or something saying it was redeemed?



Side Note: each game can only be exported once.

Exporting the original Dance Central and/or Dance Central 2 to
Dance Central 3 will cost 400 Microsoft points per disc, and you need an Xbox-LIVE enabled Gamertag that has permission to make purchases. If you've already exported the original
Dance Central track list into Dance Central 2, you don't need to export those songs again; they'll automatically install in your
Dance Central 3 library. All of your previously purchased downloadable content will also import automatically.

Hi, I have the same problem, having entered the codes for Dance Central and Dance Central 2 into Dance Central 3 (it certainly recognises the codes) there is no option to continue and import the songs from each game - there is only an option to cancel. It
is my understanding from doing some research that DC is no longer supported and the ability to import games has been removed. If there is any possibility it could be reinstated so that those of us who wish to import the songs can do so that would be appreciated
as it is so much better having one playlist rather than having to use 3 discs and keep changing them! Please xbox, reinstate this so I can fully enjoy the games.
