Implement big brands of strategy games in the microsoft store

(Everything in the following is just hypothetical)

With the new upcoming Xbox Series X there were rumors about a windows mode, which would enable the users to also play PC games with mouse- and keypad on your Xbox Series X. Due to the stats that are already published, the new Xbox will be comparable to a
decent gaming PC nowdays (graphic card should be equal to a RTX 2080 Super). This got me thinking...Wouldn't it be smart from Microsoft to get many liceses for popular PC strategy games such as the total war series, Anno 1800 or Mount and Blades: Bannerlord?
Right now I wouldn't use the Microsoft Store to buy games that I would play on PC. I would rather get them from Steam or Epic Store. But if the Microsoft Store implements more popular games and releases a console with this power for 500-600€ (just a guess),
I wouldn't even think about buying a new PC and use Steam or other stores anymore...This way, Microsoft could convert so many PC-gamers to Xbox because they would also benefit from the optimization for the games. In conclusion they would pay way less to get
a way better gaming hardware that even optimizes the games for their best performance...(besides those PC-gamers, that always want the best of the best and wouldn't hesitate to even buy a gaming-PC for 2000€)

Wouldn't that be a big opportunity for Microsoft to expand and reach a way bigger group of people and also be (because of the windows mode) much more attractive for customers than for example the PS5...?

Just a thought, but in my opinion a big chance!

for a while it was said that xbox wanted to be a platform that had mobile consoles and pc, so they want to be everywhere

It would be good to have more access to games like that but I dont see it happening.

At least game pass ultimate brings some games into play albeit on a pc or laptop.

as Mount&Blade is already on the Xbox store I wouldn't be surprised to see Bannerlord on the Series X

but I see it more as an opportunity for developers than for Xbox. although it would benefit both if more games are available to a wider audience

If Ubisoft had the ability to implement a big amount of their various titles into Game Pass, like the Tom Clancy series and For Honor, that would be a big step for Microsoft and the service they are providing to us, the consumers.
