Imperia Online (Windows 8) achievement does not sync on my profile

I'm having a similar but slightly different problem. I'm playing on Windows 10. When I click on the tab for achievements it comes up with a message that says I need to log in with an Xbox Live account.

Specifically it says, "In order to see the achievements menu, please sign in to your Xbox account."

Then there a button to sign in. When you click on it this error message comes up: "To use this app, you need to sign in with the Microsoft account that was used to download it. Go to the Windows Store, select Settings, Accounts and Preferences, then sign
in with the purchasing account. If this doesn't help, uninstall and reinstall the app at the Windows Store. Exception from HRESULT: 0x82BC000C"

My in-game user name is the same as my gamer tag. My progress and realms are all saved on the server correctly. I can switch between the Win10 app, the Windows Phone app, and the website version and all the progress is correct. I can see Xbox Live achievements
on the Windows Phone version and have unlocked them all.

Other troubleshooting: I've uninstall and reinstalled with no changes. I've tried re-signing in on the store app with no changes. I've tried changing realms and even creating a new in-game user name. It always ends up with the same error message.

I'm hoping I'm just overlooking something really obvious, but haven't been able to tell what's going on. I'm starting here since it might be an XBox Live or an account issue, but I'll contact the Imperia website at the same time. Hoping someone can help.

 

Hey, UnsungGhost! That's actually the exact issue that we believe is behind the achievements not syncing up. We've got the right people looking at this. Once I have more information, I'll post back.

 

Okay, thanks. I contacted the folks at Imperia and they said it was likely a Microsoft issue. Looking forward to the progress and thanks for the reply.

 

today I tried to sign in and cant on win app but online though website had lagging problem but ok (maybe there working on affix) I hope rather not start allover yet a gain

 

Hello, i have the same problems. 4 of the Cheevos in the Game are unlocked, but only in the game. It says 400/400 GS but no sync on Xbox Live. There is only 255/400 GS. The people from Gametroopers say its a problem with XBox Live. Pls fix it. Thx and sorry

My realm ends on July 19, 2016. So I'm glad about that. I just hope the achievements are retroactive because I already unlocked the 100,000 net points quest. I have not accepted the reward for the trading post though.

Misses Quinzel - any update yet or are we still troubleshooting? Can you ensure that the achievements are retroactive?

 

Historically, achievements have not been retroactive. However, with a game that is online exclusive with the achievements in-game, sometimes they pop retroactively that way.

No updates at this time, but I've attempted to get one from the teams looking into this. Thanks again for everyone's patience!

 

Looks like this may be fixed! This morning my in-game mail was working again in Imperia and I noticed my gamerscore went up by 40 for the 100k achievement. Popped my trading post achievement, got notification and game is complete.

Hopefully fixed for everyone else too. Thanks everyone for reporting the issue and seeing that it was resolved.

 

Miss Quinzel! Great work +75 Gamerscore for me! It synced the original achievement that never synced back in the beginning of June. The other achievement unlocked as soon as I clicked the in game reward button. So I just wanted to say thank you so much

Emanant23 - In cases like that, we always suggest attempting the achievement again. You might have to wait for a new realm for that. If that doesn't help you out, you'll want to fill out the survey at the bottom of
this sticky.

 

It's great to hear that this is working for everyone else, but I'm still having issues. I re-installed and it appears that the same problem persists. It says I need to sign in with the account that I purchased the game with. Everything appears like my Windows
Phone account. The in-game account has the same name as my gamertag, I have access to all my realms, and the progress is the same as the Windows Phone version. Is there some miscommunication with the app and the Windows Store app, or something?
