    In all honesty I don't really put any faith in review scores, I've seen a lot of games get great review scores that have stunk the joint out, similarly I've seen great games get middling ratings! I find it a rarity to find a truly impartial reviewer,
    most of the time it's trying to cut through various different agendas to try to see if there's any truth and I don't really have time nor patience for that, some of the reviewers it's fair to say are much worse than the others. Fortunately I have a good "group"
    around me who I can sound out if they pick a game up, similarly I kind of try to steer them away from any shovelware I have been unfortunate enough to run into!

    I do check out reviews for my games just in case a game gets a lot of bad reviews and feedback. But I always check out actuall game play videos to see how a game runs before I buy it

    I've learned to pay attention to the reviewers that have similar tastes to me. If I'm undecided about a game at look at what they say.

    Game Reviews USED to carry more weight with me, however the more I learned that paid reviews are really a thing, I have sought out small time user reviews if I want to hear how a game is. You will get the most honest answer when there is no monetary gain
    to be made from it.
