    Immediate Failure when trying to OSU


    Was prepping XBOX to sell to someone and after "Reset this XBOX" the system is bricked, first thing that happens is an E106 then after trying to reset either another E106 or an E101 and when trying to use USB OSU as soon as i click the option on the recovery
    screen the off sound beeps and takes me back to the recovery main menu.....

    any ideas?

    E101 & E106 - Insider Preview Bricked My Box

    I have this same problem too, I get stuck on either E101 or E106 after trying all types of reset and OSU restore. I hope MS can post an updated OSU for insider builds or point us in the right direction on how to solve this

    Forza quits to Home

    Mine let me reach the menu the first time I started it and let me play the first race. It now kicks me to the homescreen when I try to advance to the next race. Any time I try to restart it it immediately tries to load that next race...no option or way
    to get to the title screen.

    The combination of cloud saves you can't access and the game immediately thrusting you to the next event equals complete powerless failure.

    Immediate Failure when trying to OSU

    Hi!

    The E106 error is related to the start of the console.

    First try to clear the cache by holding down the power button for 10 secs, then press and hold the "Bind" button (on the left side of the console) and the "Eject" button (on the front of the console), and then press the "Xbox" button on the console.

    Continue holding both buttons for 10 secs. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the buttons after the second power-up tone. The console should power up and you can reset all settings.

    Hey Dom thanks for the reply, but I've done all that like a 100 times after clicking remove every thing theres a black screen, then a page with a progress bar for a few seconds then another error

    Xbox one x wont factory reset

    "I tried the offline reset with a usb and nothing. it gives me the same mesg that something went wrong"

    If you are using wired ethernet cable to connect to your network hardware you must disconnect it prior to attempting an offline system update (OSU).

    OSU's cannot be used if your enrolled in the Insiders program.

    E102 errors generally mean hardware failure and require setting up a repair if a factory reset or OSU doesn't resolve the issue.
