Immediate change of security info

So recently someone took my account and put their email into the security information, I finally got back into my account. I was trying to change the security info to my phone number, but there is a 30 day waiting period where the guy who stole my account
will be notified about the upcoming changes and he could just cancel them.

So is there any way I can speed up the waiting period or something like that?

I thought about calling the support, but I don't know if it will help

I'm more than grateful for any help, I've had that account for more than 8 years so I don't want to lose all the things there

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you have question on the wait period. Unfortunately, there is no way of speeding this up. However, if they do change the information again, we recommend to request a call from support. They will be able
to assist you in the issue.

When you go to Contact Us,follow these steps to request a call from support:

Step 1 ----click on Contact us
Step 2 ----under what you having trouble with select Subscriptions & billing
Step 3-----under what is the issue I can't redeem a code then hit next

Step 4 ----scroll down to select request a call

Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you. Note that these options regularly change so just keep selecting something that gives request a call from support as a contact option.

Immediately contact phone support and inform them of your situation. If you can access your account from live.com, change your password and security info, as well.

Thanks for coming to the forums with this great question. Following the 30 day period, you can definitely make more security changes to your account, if necessary. Of course, this would mean another 30 days, but really, there's no price on having a secure
account! If you no longer have access to that email associated with the account, it would be best to add another email that you do have access to, to be on the safe side, and of course, help out with account recovery and authentication.

All of the account info should still be there, should just allow you to make further changes after the 30days. If this is false I am sorry. Hope this helps!
