Também estou com o mesmo problema, não sei o que fazer pois já tentei entrar em contato com o suporte e até meus amigos mesmo não sabem o que fazer a respeito, pois uns dizem ter escolhido a própria imagem e outros tem como imagem o avatar, mas no meu caso
(acho que o seu também) fica como perfil uma imagem abstrata como você descreveu acima.
