    Hello to all.
I recently bought a used TV from the Panasonic brand because the old one I had was not in Full HD but in simple HD, ie with a resolution of 1366 x 768. For the one I bought not long ago, the Panasonic, it is in Full HD with a resolution of 1920
x 1080. Still, I bought this TV in order to get a better image quality and especially to no longer have this image problem "cut " in the corners because of the lower resolution of my old LG. So I would like to know why despite the resolution in Full HD I
still have this problem, either in game or on YouTube for example. Are there any settings to be made somewhere? Or else will I have to wait until I can buy a bigger TV. Because my Panasonic has a 32 inch screen, which is 81 cm.

I hope it's clear enough to understand, thank you in advance for your answers.
    Nice day]

    :)

    Hello Snake,

Thanks for bringing the question to us. There are a few things that could cause this. First being the TV is not one of the recommended HDR for 4k that the Xbox support. For example if the TV is not HDR it will only support certain aspects of 4k. To check
on 4K and compatibility I will provide you with a few links to look over and troubleshoot the 4K.

Hope this helps, let us know.

    Thanks,

    Brad

    Hello.

Thanks for your fast reply, but unfortunately it didn't help me.

I did not specify that I had a Xbox One FAT and not a Xbox One S or X, so suddenly I have no problem about the 4K or the HDR. I just have a problem screen resolution, my TV supports 1080p (1920 x 1080) but I still have the image cut in the corners of the
screen, that's what I don't understand. I set up my Xbox One FAT in 1080p and even in 720p I have this problem. So is the problem coming from my console or my TV ?

Thank you in advance for your answer, hoping that a solution will be found.

    Hello Snake!

It is understood that there is an issue with the TV resolutions on your Xbox One console.

Attempt to follow our How to adjust the display settings on your Xbox Onearticle, within the page is a line describing: TV
resolution settings are selected automatically. Typically, you shouldn't have to adjust these settings.

If this does not assist, attempt to Soft Factory Reset the console, and choose:

Reset and keep my games & apps. You should use this option as your primary choice when troubleshooting. It will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or
apps. This will save you from downloading or reinstalling the large game files. In some cases, if a corrupt game file is causing the issue you're troubleshooting, you may have to choose
Reset and remove everything, but you should always start with
Reset and keep my games & apps and save Reset and remove everything as a last resort.

When the doing so, remember that the reset will:

    1. Remove profiles, so remember passwords and vital information
    2. Redo the network connection, so have backup connections to be safe
Give this a shot and let us know how it goes.

    Best wishes!

    Hello again !

So I tried to do what you told me about my problem of TV resolutions.

The issue isn't fixed, I still have the same problem even after having reset my console by keeping my games and apps.

Is there another solution or must I admit that I have to wait to have a new TV ?

In the settings of the console to calibrate the TV, when I arrive to the proportions of the screen, I can't see the green lines, I can only the blue lines. Even after the reset of the console.

I hope you have others solutions.

    Thanks in advance.
