I'm wondering. will Microsoft ever Discontinue the Xbox 360 servers?

SO! I've been hearing alot about xbox 1 and things like, ever since the One came out its been hard to find xbox 360 games, becuase I don't have the financial ability to buy a current up to date console, and since games for the 360 are practically gone now,
I wanna know if when the Scorpio releases to the public, are xbox 360 servers going to be shut down?

I believe Microsoft will discontinue the Xbox 360 on 2016, I've read this on Wikipedia.

There's been no official word on if/when the 360 servers will be shut down, but with backwards compatibility still being relatively new, it's not likely to happen any time soon.

I was wondering if Microsoft decided to discontinue the download profile option on the Xbox 360. every time I try to log in I get the error code 80151103.

I always wondered why this never happened, or MS didn't step in and host the servers themselves (after all, what do we pay gold fees for?)....

Friend, unfortunately Microsoft removed the vast majority of xbox 360 controller drivers from the server. Only some controls still manage to connect to windows, as 360 products were discontinued, your old PC worked because the driver is already installed.

I'm sorry for this problem, I hope you understand the situation :/

Nothing has ever been stated officially as to why the game was discontinued on the Xbox 360. It did affect a lot of fans of the game though.

As to the issue of billing, there is a statement that all purchases are final.
