Discus and support im unable to reset my password because i accidently added authenticator 2 step verification... in XBoX Accessibility to solve the problem; ive had issues with my account being stolen and i ended up having my email connected to the account but accidently added a microsoft authenticator 2...     im unable to reset my password because i accidently added authenticator 2 step verification...


    ive had issues with my account being stolen and i ended up having my email connected to the account but accidently added a microsoft authenticator 2 step verification and with me forgetting my password it will not let me reset unless i can get a code from the microsoft authenticator even thought it is not connected to an app how can i bypass this

    I can't sign in to my Xbox Live Account.

    No. No no no no no! Now it is telling me my password isn't valid! It's obviously bloody valid, I'm signed in here, it's the same damn password!!!!! Is it because I use 2-Step Verification? I have 2 mobile numbers in my proofs, I have a trusted PC, an email,
    an alternate email and 2Step with a google authenticator. Who could possibly have more proofs?!

    Just had this same exact problem.

    I turned off the 2 step verification on the live account.

    Made sure the Authenticator app was off on the live account.

    I did a hard reset on the Xbox one/xbox 360

    Deleted my profile and re-download it.

    Worked fine with the password.
