Can Stream Videos From PC to 360.

I'm trying to stream a movie(mp4) from my PC to my Xbox 360. The problem is that the movie is on my external hard drive on my PC, and the Xbox 360 seems to only look for movies in the "video" folder?. Is there a solution to this problem?

USB recognized but movies not showing up

I've looked around for the answer but no luck so far. I'm trying to watch movies on a USB stick on my 360. Seems pretty simple, configure it for FAT32 on my computer loaded the movies on it in .avi format and stuck it in my xbox. The xbox recognizes the
USB stick but doesn't see any movies. What am I missing here? It seems to work fine for everyone else.

If you mean the Showbox app on your phone, then it is so. Showbox is an Android app, and usually, apps have their own sandbox that can't be accessed from the outside.

So the Xbox can't access content in the Showbox app.

There is no way to do what you are trying to do.

No, the video in downloaded in 1080p. I realized that when I'm watching a movie or video from my phone, the picture is better when the phone is close to the Xbox. Thanks for your reply though.

I don't watch movies on my 360 any more. I usually watch Bu-ray on my PS3 as well as streaming movies from LOVEFILM.

Hello there, I have encountered the same problem. I cannot watch my movies on Xbox 360 that I purchased from the xbox movies store via laptop. When I click to watch the movies on my Xbox 360 I get an error code of 803c0006. I have deleted and redownload
my profile. I have deleted and redownload Xbox video. I am all out of ideas. This error code happens to both of my movies that I own...

I'm having the same issue. I have some movies with the movies and tv app that I've saved to the hard drive on my laptop which will play just fine. Also trailers will play fine on the app on my xbox one s. I reached out to support and they said it's a known
issue and is being worked but doesn't have any update on when the content will be available again. Xbox page says all apps and content are working normally.
