I'm trying to download a Minecraft mod from my laptop

I cant figure out how I went and got a USB and still cant transfer the files I've tried multiple ways and none seem to work and sense theres no way that I can download files on microsoft edge its making it harder to do

No, I'm trying to download from my laptop onto my laptop. And I just cleared my cache and try to install again. No dice.

Really no reason unless she's actually trying to get mods. You can download mods via usb to your xbox. The cable connection from laptop to xbox has been used to download user created maps via original or copied maps imported to laptops then usb then xbox.
Never seen it done but heard about it tons of times.

I'm not sure when you posted this (time wise), but im trying to download mods for the windows edition minecraft that i downloaded through gamepass. will this effect me being able to download mods? I'm assuming so given the chat thread here, but i am trying to stay hopeful about it

It is Java Edition and when I use it with mods my laptop lags.

That is why I prefer not using mods while playing Minecraft(with Optifine to speed it up).
