I'm tired of the cheating!!!

I'm playing MW3. This guy is using the "god mode" or the cheat that makes you invincible. He openly admits to it in the lobby and if you read his profile he openly mocks anyone who reports him, saying its useless. He's not the first one to openly admit to
cheating and more and more of them seem to not even worry about being banned.

I for one am sick and tired of the cheating!!!

Does reporting them on the console actually work?

Do they get permanently banned?

Does microsoft actually care?

Its been getting worse and worse lately....

I keep finding people Modding FPS games.

I'm tired of going online, playing black ops 2 and forza horizon and all the dang cheaters, modders, lag switchers, if moderators want names I have no problem with providing such information, plz Xbox live enforcers check out the content on my Xbox, there's
saved videos and messages sent to these cheaters, I'm beyond tired of the cheating

Asked for help months ago but like always nothing happened all I need is my email to my account changed because all my gift codes are going to the wrong one !!!!

Yes it does. The thing is that it isn't automatic, and it isn't instant. When you report on your console, that report is investigated by a person at Xbox, which can take a bit of time.

It would be unrealistic to expect a multi-billion dollar corporation to "care" about anything other than profit. The more accurate question is; are they doing anything about it? To which the answer is yes. At least on the back
end to catch people who cheat. There isn't that much they can do to prevent people exploiting MW3 for cheats, as that's Activision's job.

Yes, because Activision completely stop any support for the older COD titles once they release the new one.

Rant justified. This is why I don't play any COD games.

 

I feel your pain, that's why I and a few friends always keep an eye our for hackers in the games we play. If we catch anyone hacking, we report them. It can take time, but it does work.

 

Gunbuilder14, Xbox live is infested with cheats. There are thousands of them on the Call of Duty games. The answer to all of your questions is no. Either you accept the games are ruined by cheats or you stop playing the games. It's wrong but there is nothing
you can do.

Dr Black Bones, reporting cheats on MW and MW3 is a waste of time. They are both published by Activision and the enforcement team do not even look at any complaints filed for these games.

 

Really ? That's funny because the ban/suspension forums are full of people who have been banned/suspended for cheating on Call of Duty games.

 

Definitely not on MW1. No cheats ever get banned on this game and it is infested with cheats.

Please show me evidence of these many players getting banned on MW1.

It is my understanding that MW3 is now going the same way.

 

So long as there is online gaming, there will be cheaters. Just the way it is.

 

Could it be that cheaters get rewarded to cheat? You know, sorta like a Ubi-nark who after setting people up gets a share of the proceeds after the victoms property is auctioned off.

I certinally suspect so. For if it happens in the physical realm, then the VR is likely infested with its stinch as well.

 

I find the reporting method works.

I have reported loads of people when I play, then two to seven days later, I get a "Thank You for making Xbox Live a safer place. We have taken action on one or more of your recent complaints you have made on Xbox Live..."

It takes a long time, but that you can expect. With the amount of people you have on, both, Xbox One and Xbox 360. There's no wonder why it takes so long for them to investigate and take action.

What I would recommend is, report them using the tools, then leave their game. Wait a minute or two, then re search. With luck, you should not bump into them for a while.

 

I've reported numerous times and have NEVER received a "Thank you".

I always report them as cheating.. Maybe try "tampering" or something else?

When a guy openly mocks people in his profile and daring them to report him, it pretty much says that nothing is done about it. We shall see I guess.

 

I have a list of people that started cheating and or using hacks since COD World at war and they are still not banned. This shows you that MS does not ban people like they say when you agree to their TOS. All the tos is suppose to be is to protect MS rears.
This is not only on cod but Battlefield, World of tanks, Halo. This is another reason I let my tenue go silver after 13 years or since they intruduce live to xbox. Only til the end of my gold membership did I receive 2-4 messages saying that they took actions
against people. Also here lately before not renewing there seems to be questions on certain people that cheat you cannot avoid them. I have called support and let them know to see if this was a hack. I am quite happy atm with ps4 and off line games. I refuse
to buy and major games until things change in the gaming world. There should be laws against MS, sony, nintendo and big game developers that if they cannot stop the cheating once it starts then take it off the servers or be fined several thousand dollars til
they get it in the head. Also making up TOS to protect them should be against the law.

 

No, it doesn't work. I have a guy who spoofed my GT, Spelling it [Mod Removed], spelt with a lower case L instead of an I. I called MS security and explained. They told me that it was a valid GT and there was nothing they could do about
it. Really? Obvious abuse and nothing? I have gotten so tired of the lack of service and the money-grabbing mentality, that I have now removed my GT from my console. I only use it here. I play offline only now. It's simply not worth it. The final straw was
when I tried to log in and was told that I needed to validate my email. After 6 attempts to log in, I called support. ( what a joke) They told me that MY security needed to be improved. It's THEIR service I PAY FOR. THEY need to increase security and start
enforcing the rules, NOT ME. After 12 years on-line with them, I now have a PS4. It couldn't be any worse.

 

You Russtafarian think that coming into discussion forums somehow validates your inability to fix your problem? This guy has an issue with an old game known for cheats and you are talking about your lack of problem solving. Nice job
