I'm sure this is in the wrong place.Kinect problems

So my Kinect will pick up voice commands but not chat at all. Tried everything in troubleshooting and more. Nothing is helping. please help.

When i sign into my Xbox account It has my old name not the one i changed it to i have kept trying to find out why but there is nothing?

Check the Kinect Settings? activate Kinect for Chat?

Check your Privacy and security Settings...

When a Headset is plugged in Kinect will not take your Chat

 

That's the thing. I've tried everything! And I don't have a Mic I use Kinect primarily since mica break so often.

 

And what happens in party?

 

Same thing. I can still give voice commands but can't talk with anyone.

 

Do a Full Power Cycle (Hold Button on xbox for ~15 seconds)

Please re-calibrate your Kinect...

Imagine in Game Chate would be horrible if everybody is chatting because he have the volume of TV too loud. you would hear al inGame sounds of others...

If that and privacy is ok you may Need to repair, but because voice commands work I think you did something wrong way
