    I bought the free month when i made my account and it auto renewed on the 14th and charged my card which is how i know it should have worked. When i go to do anything online it says "my account does not have the correct permissions" and then promptly brings
    me to a screen where i can buy xbox live gold. Even if i try to buy another subscriptuon it says i cant cause i already have one on my account. Please help me, i dont want to lose my account and i would like to be able to use the subscription i paid for.

    I bought a three month Xbox live pass from Walmart and put it in and it says I'm subscribed to Xbox live but won't let me play online when I try and find a game it asks me to join Xbox live gold before playing any help would be appreciated!

    Xbox wont let me update my payment option!

    its driving me nuts. every time i go on my stupid thing it wont let me sign into live because it says i need to update my payment option, even though im already subscribed to gold through an xbox live card!!!!! and i get the same message youre getting when
    i try to do it online. i think its probably time i crack and just call them

    You are showing as silver in the forums. Have you tried logging out of your profile and logging back in? If that doesn't work try removing the profile and redownloading it.

    If you continue to have issues with your account you should probably call the toll free number 1-800-469-9269

    Genesis, the forum server is different to the xbox live service, so takes longer to take effect.

    Treezy, you can manage your account subscriptions at account.microsoft.com

    If you continue to have issues, please call the sales support.

  6. I have the same problem in that I cannot get into xbox live even tho my subscription was good up until the end of February. There was no notice at all.

    Pro Devision, I am aware the servers are different and that it sometimes take some time for everything to sync up. I was merely pointing out that his status here was still silver.

    You are showing as silver in the forums. Have you tried logging out of your profile and logging back in? If that doesn't work try removing the profile and redownloading it.

    i agree with the free membership idea! haha. this is bulls--t!!! i pretty much only play online!! im having the same issue. it wont let me download the update and then it wont let me sign into xbox live! soooo lame!
