    Hey guys! its been about 2 weeks of my trying to redeem my xbox live code so I can play online! every time I try to redeem it it'll tell my that I need to sign in before I can redeem my code, even though I am!

    i have tried it through my phone, laptop, and xbox itself. How do I fix this?

  2. Need help redeeming my xbox live code

    I tried redeeming the code in my browser on my computer using these instructions, big mistake. It said "thank you, you redeemed your code" and then exited me out. No gamertag registration whatsoever. I thought the whole point of redeeming my code was to create a gamer tag, but no just exits me out. I then tried redeeming my code on my xbox (so that I could create the gamer tag) and it said "sorry, code already redeemed."

    so what the... what do I do now?

    So I get on GTA 5 recently downloaded for the first and I go to online tab and it says sign into Xbox live but I already am and when I click on my profile nothing happens and nothing works to let me play.

    To check, are you redeeming your code here on Xbox.com or through the app? If you haven't already, give the website a try to see if there's any difference. Also, please make sure the region of your account is tied to your physical locale if it isn't already
    set that way. Cross-region accounts aren't supported and may cause some code troubles such as this.

    Please try to sign in to your son's account on redeem.microsoft.com on the web browser and redeem the 25-character codes.

    Note: Make sure to redeem the codes on the correct account. Once the codes are successfully redeemed, the changes can't be reverted.

    If the codes didn't work, may I have the exact error message/codes upon attempting to redeem the codes on your son's account?

    If it did push through, confirm the codes by signing your son's account on account.microsoft.com > payment and billing > order history if the subscription shows up.

    You can also check if the subscription is active on account.microsoft.com > services and subscription.

    If you have confirmed that the subscription is active, restart your console and sign in to your son's account to check if the subscription works.

When redeeming a voucher code, it's important to make sure you're signed in to the right account, as you can't cancel the redemption or transfer it to a different account. Unfortunately, you can't refund a digital code after it's been redeemed. I apologise for any inconvenience caused by this.
