I'm playing Ninja gaiden 2. Off the disc that I purchased. On my Xbox 360 console. Many years ago when I beat the game 11 of the 12 times you have to beat it to get all the achievements. All the cutscenes were skippable. Except for the end credits.

When I played it on the Xbox One I couldn't skip the cutscenes and I was pissed. Apparently that's also been changed on the 360 console. I'm suffering through a 5-minute cutscene right now that I've seen more times than I care to discuss. Anyone who's played this game should appreciate that.

I'm so sick and tired of this. The stupidity of your decisions and the people that develop these games; its literally driven me away from gaming.

Why am I playing Ninja gaiden 2 on my 360?

Because last week I sold my Xbox One and all the games I had. Because I can't take this anymore. This is absurd. We pay for your jobs. We pay for your children. The money we give you pays for your life.

And what do you do?

You make a suffer through things... Waste our time.

You force us to play games your way.

No game should have an unskippable cutscene.

No game should have a 45 second to 1 minute long loading scene when you turn it on like so many games do. I have other things to do with my life besides stare at the screen and look at things I don't want to see anymore. This has completely driven me away from gaming.

How about multiplayer games?

How about sitting there during the loading screens of Battlefield? During the countdowns between matches for gears of war? Every version. Absurd. I don't want to sit there and look at my stats for 1 to 2 minutes while nothing happens. Then wait for the game to load.

How about loading screens of any kind other than the word loading?

I've worked in IT for over 20 years. I don't care what is on that screen when the game is loading if it's a word other than loading... Then that's causing the game to take extra time to load.

blows me away. I feel like you guys never played your own games. I feel like all developers never play the games that they develop. Because you cannot seriously tell me that any of them would sit there and stare at what we have to stare at while we wait for nothing to happen. While we have our time wasted by inconsequential ****.

It's funny now that I'm ranting and raving about this because I know no one's going to care. At least not anyone that matters. But it helped me to realize that this was the number one thing that drove me away. I was trying to tell myself it was because I should do other things with my life. But no it wasn't that I love video games. I'm just sick and tired of this BS.

It's ridiculous beyond anything that I can even express. My time is valuable and my money pays for everything you have. Yet it doesn't seem that way from where I sit.

While games may have ratings like M for mature, or T for teen those only restrict who can purchase them, not play them. Live too has a rating, it's E for everyone,

You don't have a right to say who can play who can't cause we all paid deep outta pocket for the system and game and etc.

Actually Microsoft, or any service provider, does have the right when using their service. The
U.S. Constitution covers only what the U.S. Government can and cannot do.

When signing up for Live, users agree to follow the
Terms of Use and
Code of Conduct. Microsoft has even noted the consequences of not following the rules listed in them as well.

Tools are been provided to mute, block and report users who break the code of conduct on Live. Most microphones even come with a mute button.

It's up to the user to follow the rules as well as use the tools provided.

As for the "Back in the day... what was said didn't matter" comment, every service provider has had rules on what can and cannot be done when using their service since the days of dial-up. The difference these days is that companies are enforcing the rules
that have always been there.
