I'm Pretty sure I've tried everything...

How many Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles are connected to this router?: Only have an xbox one connected

Wired or Wireless (for each console): Wireless

Things you have tried: Port forwarding, putting console into DMZ, static ip.

Is UPnP Enabled? Yes/No/Unknown

Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT type?: error, but my NAT type is stuck at Moderate

Who is your ISP? (Internet Service Provider): Xplornet

When i was with Bell Aliant, my NAT was open. (my console was in DMZ) But after i switched to Xplornet, i swear i've tried everything to try and get an open NAT to be able to play with friends. i have looked online and tried everything i was told to try.
Im posting this as a last resort as im getting desperate. It's a little annoying to be able to play with random people, but can't play with your buddies online..

My main problem is with Microsoft Jigsaw. I've tried almost everything suggested on the community boards. I ran the the App Troubleshooter multiple times. Every time that I did it would tell me that the Windows Store Cache may be damaged.



I ran the Win Key + R fix with WSreset. After the Store opened again, I would run the app troubleshooter again and it would say that the problem was fixed until I closed the Store.

Potential Issues that were checked:

Microsoft account required Issue not present

Temporary Internet files location has changed Issue not present

User account Control has been disabled Issue not present

What does this mean? I have no idea. I have a Microsoft account. I need to know what these issues are and they're not addressed.

I bought many of the Jigsaw collections and they just disappeared. I clicked the 'downloadable collection' option, but as it's opening the entire game window shuts down.

In desperation I tried deleting all of my Windows/Xbox games then reloaded them as many people suggested. NOTHING! It's all the same.



I've even tried renaming the Cache folder name. It didn't work. Does anyone have any clues as to what's going on and what I can do to fix it? I feel like I'm going crazy now. LOL

is that somekind of satellite internet ? does it have a modem that you plug your router into ?

 

I am not the kind of person that is good with this kind of stuff. (please don't be too hateful)

I have a box on my roof, a wire goes through the underside of the roof and to the room with the router. its all connected, everything's intact and working the way they should. No it is not a satellite as the tower/building is being directly contacted by
the "box" on the roof. As the tower is only a few kilometers away. (on flatground, no big hills or trees blocking the path of the "box" and the tower.)

I'm sorry I could answer your question to help me any better. I'm a "noob" towards this stuff.

 

Do you have UPnP enabled? Is that a unit provided by the ISP?

 

unplug your router and plug the xbox straight up , see how it does that way when you do the test , the type of setup you have is usually already behind a layer of nat or you may have a private ip versus a public one...

 

Sorry for late response, Yes my router has UPnP and it is enabled. As i posted before, my console is in DMZ, wouldn't that allow my nat to be open? why doesn't it work for me on Xplornet, but it works on Bell Aliant?

 

Did you plug the xbox straight up to to the wire that is now plugged into your router ? (unplug router , plug in xbox) and check the nat with that setup...if NAT is not open when plugged straight up this way , then Xplornet already has you natted and its
on them ...

Just to clarify. The XBOX is plugged directly into the modem bypassing the router? Is that correct?

 

You will have to call you ISP and they will have to change your wireless IP if when plugged in, you NAT is open and wireless is moderate, ISP issue.

I would plug your router back up and the computer but not the xbox , I would then reset the router to factory defaults and then hardwire the xbox up to it and check the nat...
