    I'm on the new dashboard. How are you meant to get to the store and deals with gold now?


    With the original tabs/twists it was easy.

    With the 4 box version of preview it was easy to get to the store but sometimes I had to go through "my games and apps" to get to deals with gold.

    Now with the new version of the dashboard I have to go through "my games and apps" to get to gold as the advert on the main screen just wants me to upgrade to ultimate, and I'm not sure how to get to the store other than to go to the apps section and open it that way.

    How is this better?

    Hey Hun9ryGh0st! I'm sorry you don't feel all your questions were answered. I'm sounds like the agent meant that he couldn't help you out with a discounted subscription! Promotions like the one you saw previously are only offered through the Xbox LIVE Dashboard
    or retail stores. Like medium bloke said, you can often find good deals on Gold Subscriptions with vendors. So make sure to check your Dashboard as well as online or local retailers for a deal that might peak your interest. :) Let us know if you have any more

    Yes I see they've changed the deal to "Free Demo" on the dashboard now, thanks. (How stupid is that?) The deal was displayed as "for all gold members". I guess this was a big "oops" by xbox once they realized they *** off some Canadians... *sigh* I wanted
    that game, what a disappointment.

    Xbox should be contacting the developers, not me, I'm not the one that made this mistake. Xbox may not be responsible for the fact that it's not available in Canada, but they are responsible for their "typo" in the "free to gold" deal on the dashboard. ;)

    If you get the deals with gold on your dashboard, then the free games with gold are usually listed on there too.

    FYI if you read the trial card it's not between the lines

    You cannot get Games with gold on trial.cards they are only meant for temporary multiplayer access no deals with gold or anything else

    Now if you are game.sharing with the said friend that would be why

    You have his home gold which only applies to Xbox one accounts not 360 gold
