Im on my 4th xbox due to faults Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I am now on my 4th Faulty xbox one and my warranty will run out on the 6th Feb 2015. It seem when u send a box back they extend ur warranty. However they have never done this for me. Talking to ms online support it seems I have to write Support a letter
to get this to be looked into. which in todays tech age is a bit of a shocker. Can anyone else help at all??? Cheers Cass

The tri-peaks game on April 4th seems impossible? Is there a fault in it please?

 

Battlefield 4 lag

Battlefield 4 is rubber banding due to lag on xbox one live. My connection is 50 mbps and it reports an open nat so is this the xbox server's fault? This has been going on for two months. Is lag common now on BF4?

 

They dont extend the warranty. They either keep the existing warranty or give you a 90 day warranty for the new console which ever is longer

 

It is also standard practice for most electricals now also. I know both Apple and Sony use this same policy as I recently had to replace both my Iphone and PS4 replaced and thats what i was offered

 

well that sucks I pay £400 and i expect stuff to work not break.

It's possible that you are extremely unlucky but that's unlikely.

Even if you are convinced that you are treating your XBox ONE fine it is more probable that you aren't.

But document everything that has happened and this will only help to strengthen your case when you try to get it replaced.

 

the odds of you experiencing 4 faulty xbox in a row.

are astronomical to say the least, my guess is something YOU are doing is causing the issue.

 

Had about 3 faulty xbox's myself with the disc drive, so i can certainly believe that the op is unfortunate raher than causing the issues himself

 

On my 17th 360 & 3rd xbox one,all are kept immaculately,virtualy dust free.

My machines do get used more than average but people can just get unlucky with consoles.

Problem is,once you send one in for repair chances are you get a refurb back which is probably more likely to go wrong than a brand new console.

 

i have used the advance replcement scheme, but some of MS Support say u get a new one some say arefurb good to see know of them have a clue.

phone call to the complaints team tomorrow.

 

If you've been promised a new replacement then you have the right to demand this.
